State of Tennessee v. David Edwin Kniejski

Defendant, David Edwin Kniejski, pleaded guilty toone count of aggravated assault and one count of simple assault. At sentencing, Defendant requested an alternative sentence of probation, but the trial court found that Defendantwas “not properly suited for a suspended sentence” and imposed an effective sentence of six years in confinement. On appeal, Defendant argues that the trial court abused its discretion by denying his request for probation. After review, we affirm the judgments of the trial court.
