In this matter, the Plaintiff, Steven J. Mulroy, in his official capacity as Shelby County District Attorney, files suit against the defendants, Jonathan Skrmetti, in his official capacity as Attorney General, and William Lee, in his official capacity as Governor of the State of Tennessee, seeking declaratory and injunctive relief. The Plaintiff alleges that Public Chapters 928 and 948 (the “Audit and Pro Tem Act” and the “Memphis Safe Task Force Accountability Act”) are unconstitutional.
