Raymond D. Arwood v. State of Tennessee

Case Number
E2025-00943-CCA-R3-PC

A Hamblen County jury convicted the Petitioner, Raymond D. Arwood, of sexual
exploitation that involved more than fifty images of child pornography, and the trial court
sentenced the Petitioner, a past sex offender, as a Range II offender to ten years of
incarceration. The Petitioner filed a timely petition for post-conviction relief in which he
alleged that he was denied representation by his choice of counsel, that his trial and
appellate counsel were ineffective, that the evidence is insufficient to sustain his
conviction, and cumulative error. After a hearing, the post-conviction court denied the
petition. We conclude that no error exists in the post-conviction court’s judgment, so we
affirm.
