State of Tennessee v. Christopher Lamont Luster

Case Number
M2025-00841-CCA-R3-CD

The Defendant, Christopher Lamont Luster, appeals his Robertson County Circuit Court conviction of rape of a child, for which he received a sentence of thirty years’ incarceration. On appeal, the Defendant contends that (1) the evidence is insufficient to sustain his conviction, (2) he was denied a fair trial because he was unable to adequately hear the testimony, and (3) his sentence is excessive. Following our review, we affirm the Defendant’s conviction but vacate his sentence and remand for further proceedings consistent with this opinion.
