State of Tennessee v. Spencer Baucom, Jr.

The Defendant, Spencer Baucom, Jr., sought an interlocutory appeal under Tennessee Rule of Appellate Procedure 9 and asked this court to review the trial court’s order denying him access to the audio recordings created by the court reporter during his rape trial. This court granted the Rule 9 application to address three questions. After a thorough review of the record, we reverse the trial court’s order in part and remand for further proceedings consistent with this opinion.
