Camo Disposal Company, LLC et al. v. Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough, LLP et al.

This appeal stems from a legal malpractice action involving a failed commercial real estate transaction. The plaintiffs alleged that their former attorneys negligently failed to extend a contractual due diligence period, resulting in the loss of a large earnest money deposit. One plaintiff also asserted that he personally received negligent advice about the risk associated with a bridge loan used to fund the deposit. The defendants filed a counterclaim for unpaid legal fees. Ultimately, the trial court granted summary judgment to the defendants on all claims. The plaintiffs appeal. We affirm.
